   General Information
 Q:  How many rigs do you have?
 A:  12 Total rigs. 3 ambulances, 6 fire apparatus, 1 heavy rescue and 2 support vehicles.
 
 Q:  How many stations do you have
 A:  3 Total stations. 2 in Hailey, Id and 1 just south of Bellevue, Id.
 
 Q:  Are all your stations staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week?
 A:  Only 1 of our stations is staffed 24/7.
 
 Q:  How many personnel does Wood River have?
 A:  At present we have 10 full-time personnel and about 25 paid-call volunteers.
 
 Q:  What is a paid-call volunteer?
 A:  A paid-call volunteer is a person who takes time out of their day to respond to various incidents, at all hours of the day or night and gets paid for it.

 Q:  How many departments are in the Wood River Valley?
 A:  There are a total of 5 departments in the valley.
 
 Q:  Why is Wood River Fire & Rescue in Hailey along with Hailey Fire Department?
 A:  Hailey Fire Department provides fire protection for the city of Hailey and an Basic EMT level response to EMS incidents in the city of which Wood River responds to also. The Hailey Fire Department assists Wood River with on-scene patient care. Wood River Fire & Rescue provides fire protection for about 150 square miles of the county. Wood River also provides Paramedic level ambulance service for Hailey and about 1500 more square miles of the county, which includes Bellevue, Gannett, Carey and much of the Magic reservoir.
 
 Q:  What does WRFR stand for?
 A:  It stands for Wood River Fire & Rescue.
 
   Fire Information
 Q:  How much hose does Wood River have?
 A:  Over 11,000 feet of hose that comes in all sorts of different lengths and widths.
 
 Q:  When you respond to fires, how much water can you take to the fire right away?
 A:  Wood River can respond to a fire with 7200 gallons of water. Should a fire require more water, we have all sorts of water to supply more water that includes calling other departments with water tenders.
 
 Q:  What does SCBA stand for?
 A:  SCBA stands for Self Contained Breathing Apparatus.
 
   EMS Information
 Q:  How many departments in the valley provide ambulance service?
 A:  Of the 5 departments in the valley, only 2 provide ambluance services, Wood River Fire & Rescue and Ketchum Fire Department which is a Paramedic level service.
 
 Q:  How many ambulances are there in the Wood River Valley?
 A:  Between Ketchum Fire Department and Wood River Fire & Rescue, there are 6 ambulances. If an incident ever requires more ambulances, we can request them from neighboring cities and counties.
