:  How many rigs do you have? 
A:  13 Total rigs. 3 ambulances, 6 fire apparatus, 1 heavy rescue and 3 support vehicles. 
  
Q:  How many stations do you have 
A:  3 Total stations. 2 in Hailey, Id. and 1 just south of Bellevue, Id. 
  
Q:  Are all your stations staffed 24 hours a day 7 days a week? 
A:  Only 1 of our stations is staffed 24/7. 
  
Q:  How many personnel does Wood River have? 
A:  At present we have 12 full-time personnel and about 35 paid-call volunteers. 
  
Q:  What is a paid-call volunteer? 
A:  A paid-call volunteer is a person who takes time out of their day to respond to various incidents, at all hours of the day or night and gets paid for it.

Q:  How many departments are in the Wood River Valley? 
A:  There are a total of 9 departments in the valley. They include the Ketchum Fire Department, Sun Valley Fire Department, Hailey Fire Department, Bellevue Fire Department, Carey Fire Protection District, the Friedman Memorial Airport ARFF, Smiley Creek FPD, West Magic Fire, and us Wood River Fire and Rescue.  
 
Q:  Why is Wood River Fire & Rescue in Hailey along with Hailey Fire Department? 
AHailey Fire Department provides fire protection for the city of Hailey and Basic EMT level response to EMS incidents in the city.  Wood River provides Paramedic level ambulance transport service for Hailey and about 1500 square miles of the county, which includes Bellevue, Gannett, Carey and much of the Magic reservoir.  WRFR also provides fire protection services to many of the developed areas outside city limits. Wood River's staffed station is located in Hailey as it is recognized as population center of the southern portion of Blaine County.
 
Q:  What does WRFR stand for? 
A:  It stands for Wood River Fire & Rescue.
