PROVIDING FIRE PROTECTION AND PARAMEDIC LEVEL EMS SERVICE TO SOUTHERN BLAINE COUNTY
Wood River Fire & Rescue maintains auto agreements with various agencies that border its fire and ambulance response areas. These agreements are mutually beneficial to each department, allowing quicker response to incidents on the edges of our districts.

Carey Fire Auto-Aid
Completed in April of 2011, WRFR's newest auto-aid agreement provides enhanced fire coverage to residents of the Bellevue Triangle area created by Gannett Road, Highway 20, and Highway 75.

Wood River Fire will now respond - as auto-aid - to structure and wildland fires that occur in Carey Fire Department's primary district in the area bordered by Baseline Road (to the north), Gannett Road (to the east), Highway 20 (to the south) and Highway 75 (to the west). Carey Fire Department will now respond - auto-aid - to structure and wildland fires that occur in Wood River Fire & Rescue's primary district in the area bordered by Baseline Road (to the south), Gannett Road (to the east), Gannett Road (to the west) and East Glendale Road (to the north).

Ketchum Fire Department Auto-Aid
Our longest standing auto-aid agreement is with Ketchum Fire Department to provide fire & EMS coverage in the area of East Fork, Greenhorn, Hidden Hollow and the Heatherlands.

For confirmed structure and wildland fires, and medical emergencies, Ketchum Fire Department will respond as far south as Ohio Gulch Road, and Wood River Fire & Rescue will respond into KFD's district as far north as Greenhorn / Golden Eagle, East Fork Road and parts of East Fork canyon itself.
