STATION 1: AMBULANCE 95
Ambulance 95 is the newest ambulance to join Wood River Fire & Rescue's fleet. It is based on a 2010 Ford F-350 diesel, 1 ton 4x4 chassis. While offering incremental upgrades (such as LED lighting, more warning lights to protect responders when working on highway scenes, larger interior compartment doors etc.) A95 still retains the same familiar layout as Ambulance 97 and Ambulance 93, allowing responders to feel comfortable in any of the three ambulances they may respond.
Ambulance 95 is our "first out" ambulance, meaning it's the first apparatus to respond - staffed by the on-duty "duty crew" - to medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, backcountry rescues and any other emergency that requires an EMS response.
We even have a larger window in this one, allowing more light into the back!
